The set arrived late, enough said. Assembled and started using the 11/16 cutter with plenty of cutting fluid. After cutting 5 holes on the sixth hole cutter started to vibrate. removed and cleaned and started to bore again. The cutter shattered in half also breaking the pilot pin. I switched over to a 7/16 cutter on some other holes. After 3 holes when I started the 4th hole I had the same vibration as on the cutter I broke. Removed cutter. Just by touch both cutters had become dull compared to unused cutters. Either these cutters are for steel softer than 1020 steel or they are poorly heat treated. This is after backing them out and constant lubrication during boring. I would not recommend buying unless you have less than 2-3 holes to drill. Again not worth the money for what you get. I was very dissatisfied. I would like to add that BLUEROCK TOOLS is a company that stands behind their product. I received new merchandise to replace the defective cutters that broke in a timely manner. The customer service at BLUEROCK TOOLS is fantastic. I would now recommend this product for purchase.
